I grabbed one of these for a bit less on an online auction site,so I do actually have one.
I should have gotten it here,so I could return it and get my money back.
Anyway,it does LOOK very cool. As a statue-only-it is very nice and quite authentic looking.
The VFX effects,though,are a total,and I mean total,failure.
The main switch didn't quite work as described on mine,but I could get it working.
The light effects are good,but not great. The meter on the right lights up,but the needle does not function.
The eyes glow great,but cut off quickly when you activate the second sound.It should have lingered a bit and gone out more slowly.
There are only two sounds,the sounds of the doctor's equipment from his lab and the mad scientist himself saying "It's alive! It's alive!"
The tiny! and apparently very cheap speaker in the back is where the sound comes out,so it is hard enough to hear from it's location,but the volume of the recordings are barely...
