My first Kotobukiya, but won't be the last
Very pleased with the statue. I collect a lot of statues (Bowen, DC Direct, etc.) but this is my first Kotobukiya. It looks nice on the shelf and the light up base is a nice touch - I left it on for several days straight just to see how long it would stay lit and was surprised when the batteries lasted close to a week of 24 hour days.
Nova's suit is definitely more matte than the shiny look you get on most statues. Based on the comic book art, this seems appropriate for this costume (matte dark blue elements with shiny gold).

Beautiful rendition and a real fine art statue ! for a fair price , but most of all !!! having it in real the style of it ! it looks FANTASTIC ! considering the price ! i would say in between 90$ and 120$ it is really a classic and iconic pose honouring the character of the 1970's comic Super hero , NOVA ... !!! looks like flying and the "gold wings paints" on the shouders and chest : IT's NOVA Hero flying through ... SPACE !!! , A beautifull piece , indeed !!! and slightly, sadly , underestimated .....

This Statue is very detailed. Looks very nice sitting on my shelf. The base lights up. I dont think they could have made this statue any better.
