I only just discovered the joys of the Bishoujo line of statues, and stumbled across it while looking for Wonder Woman statues, which was my first purchase. (Kotobukiya DC X Bishoujo Collection: Wonder Woman Statue) At first the look of the statue seemed so strange to me, but it took awhile for me to come to appreciate the style on it's own merits and not compare it to anything. And suffice to say, I think they're all absolutely gorgeous! I love Catwoman, and this statue literally overflows with attitude and Selina Kyle's carefree spirit. These statues may have the best female form of all the statue lines, and this one does not disappoint. The only downside for me was that with my being so sick, my hands shake really bad, and putting that whip in place and getting it shaped the way I wanted it took FOREVER. Very detailed. A "purrfect" addition to anyone's DC collection. Sorry for the puns, but I couldn't resist. I definitely recommend to anyone who is a Catwoman fan. I have the Batgirl and Harley Quinn from this collection as well, and they are all great.
....Damn cats
The figure it self is amazing looking. The paint job is flawless and her face is very expressive. I love her eyes. they look great. I have passed on other figures I wanted because they had "dead eyes". There was just no personality in the figure. This catwoman looks great though. My only issue is.... the damn cats that come with her. They should have made a place just for the cats. So they can stand on their own. As it is you just set them on there (some where) and hope they don't fall. I just wish they could be affixed to the base some how. I refuse to glue them on the figure. The cats certainly don't take away from the beauty of this piece. A must buy for catwoman fans.
