Dull and Poorly Made
This statue looks nothing like the product image. I strongly discourage anyone from buying it. I've uploaded some pictures onto the customer images for this product, so you can also look and judge for yourself. My impressions are below:
First, the colors are dull. It has too few coats of paint and no primer, which leaves it very dull looking--especially because the base color of the statue is a dark gray. This leaves the statue with an unappealing washed out gray color all over.
Second, the molding is very bad. There is a visible seam all around the perimeter of the statue, which can be seen when looking at the statue from any angle. This is something that should have been, at the very least, sanded off before the statue was painted.
Third, there are visible brushstrokes all over the statue from the single coat of paint, which makes it look like the statue is covered in wrinkles--not a good look for Charlie Brown.

Dark Horse Peanuts
In 2000, Dark Horse began a `continuation' of the original very collectible Farina 4'' to 5'' syroco figurines which were originally made in the 1940's, working in a style that attempts to echo the style of the vintage Farina Cereal premiums, but with limited production runs. This style features a rougher surface texture, visible seam lines, and other slightly distressed aspects, such as paint application. (These style points, present in all of Dark Horse's styroco figurines, were listed as negative factors in another's review.)
