If you loved Guillermo del Toro's "Pan's Labyrinth" film, then you have to get this (really creepy) statue! The level of quality in this Gentle Giant SDCC exclusive is unbelievable. The paint application on the Pale Man's body is textured(does not look 'flat'), the yellow, red, and bluish hues give a very realistic look to his skin. There's some glossiness on the tips of his fingers, and the "blood spatter" painting finish on his hands(claws???)is a nice touch. The sculpting is amazing, it really does looks as good as the promo pictures you will see online.
The statue will come in two pieces(carefully packaged, don't worry!). There's the Pale Man himself, and the base. The base is very heavy and solid, there's two holes where the statue's feet will fit into. Once you do that, the statue stands very solidly and never feels like it will fall over.
Overall, I really would recommend the Pale Man statue from Gentle Giant. It certainly will be the scariest...
