I prefer this takara model to the 20th anniversary because i prefer the colour scheme on this one and not to mention the smoke stacks are of proper length. Not the stupid lil knobs that are on the 20th anniversary

Takara MP-01 is the largest & my Favorite Optimus Prime
There are a few different versions of the Mp-01 Masterpiece Optimus Prime. In robot mode, the MP-01 is hands-down my favorite release of Optimus Prime EVER. The vehicle mode is not perfect but if you intend to pose him as the robot then you cannot get any better than this one. If you prefer vehicle mode of this iconic figure, and don't mind a slightly smaller size, then the TRU Hasbro MP10 might be a better choice for you.
Pros
1 - the MP-01 is made of die-cast metal and plastic. This makes it feel heavy and solid. It poses very well and has moveable leg vents, light-up matrix, rubber tires, communication panels on arms, Ion blaster, Megatron gun accessory, Energon axe, and more... it's just awesome!
2 - it is HUGE. The largest release of the Masterpiece Optimus Prime figures. At approximately 12" it towers over the more recent Masterpiece figures.
3 - the colors, design, quality, accuracy, etc are all PERFECT!
