I began collecting the Hot Toys 1/6 scale Avengers with Avengers Figure Movie Masterpiece 1/6 HAWKEYE. The attention to detail, and amazing likeness to Jeremy Renner, of that figure convinced me to continue buying the series. I was also very satisfied with Avengers Figure Movie Masterpiece 1/6 NICK FURY and Avengers Movie Masterpiece Action Figure 1/6 CAPTAIN AMERICA was very good. Black Widow is the fourth I have received and she is also incredibly well done. In fact, I like her figure much better than Captain America!
This figure is distinct from the rest of the set in that she has actual rooted hair (like a Barbie, actually), rather than shaped from vinyl. I think this was a good choice on the part of the designers - she looks more like Scarlet Johansson...

-- Lovely detail, fair face in all her seriousness, refreshing change from the typical female doll. Her small handguns have springs which simulates reloading. Her suit is of high quality and excellent texture, it feels very realistic to the touch. Her beautiful red hair is made up of individual strands but when I received her, it was very stiff. Her serious eyes and beautiful red lips covered in a glossy finish for that extra hint of detail.
From the top of her head, to the bottom of her chest, she is covered in a flexible skin simulator to cover her shiny skeleton. Because her suit covers the rest of her body, the artist who designed this doll decided to only cover the exposed areas with the skin simulator.
This model comes with plenty of very detailed gadgets, all which you can probably read about in her original description. Her boots are really awesome, but the ankle does not move which is bad for me because...

my first major purchase as a collector and not disappointed worth the money! only complaint is smaller then I expected but she looks like the actress. nice addition to my already huge collection of toys!
