I don't know where all the other reviews went that I looked at before buying this, but they were correct. This is a lot larger then I imagined. And it does come in pieces. There is the stand (the snow), Ghost, John's Torso, Longclaw (the sword)'s blade (the hilt is part of John's torso, the cape, and John's head. It took me about 30 seconds and no tools to put it all together.
I had no problem, but be careful with the blade... for two reasons (no it is not sharp) that I didn't have any issue with personally, but that may be because I was careful due to being warned. First is that there is supposedly some plastic cover on the blade to make it shine.. don't take that off, it is NOT packaging. The second is that the peg that links the blade to the hilt is not the strongest. As I said, I had no problem, but just reiterating the warning.
