I have bought many science fiction collectibles, and when it comes to science fiction Doctor Who is my favorite. Surprising there is a lack of Doctor Who toys and I this is the only 1/6 scale figure that I know of. I had my reservations about this obscure company, Big Chiefs Studios. They appear to make only a few items so I was hesitant to put out around $200 for their product. If you share my hesitation, don't, this is a top quality collectible. It is equal to anything made by Sideshow Collectibles and superior to Diamond Toys and many others. I am anxiously waiting for the matching Amy Pond, even going as far as pre-ordering her from Big Chief in the UK to get the signature edition.
Doctor Who Figure is Incredible!!
I purchased this recently as I'm a huge Doctor Who fan!! Once I saw that this was available, I had to have it!! The figure is incredibly life-like and is really well done. The figure comes with multiple hands and sonic screwdrivers for different poses for the Doctor. The detail of the clothes are incredible!! Big Chief is also planning on coming out with a 10th Doctor and possibly, a 4th Doctor ( my favorite!! ). If you're a Doctor Who fan, you will definitely be happy with your purchase.
