This collectible from Hot Toys is figuratively speaking, a living legend amongst collectors. There were many instances of consumers reporting that their figure had "oily abs". A design flaw that an oil used to lubricate the inner workings of the figure would leak around the midsection. This was typical among the early versions of the figure. If Hot Toys fixed the problem or if it was just select batches that were bad is not to my knowledge. What I do know is that mine showed up to my doorstep defect free. What that means is a figure that met and exceeded my expectations. Until now I would've been able to call this the best 1/6 scale Batman collectible around. Now that Hot Toys has released their new and improved version (DX12) the title of champion has switched hands. Now, that's not to deter anybody from investing in this because it is certainly worthy of purchase if you're willing to shell out the coin necessary to acquire it.
