I ordered this from Sideshow Collectibles and it came in the mail today. I didn't expect it to be so BIG! Ash stands 22 inches high in a truly signature pose, with Boomstick raised high. The craftsmanship is really outstanding, I must say. I paid slightly more than what is currently on Amazon, and I still think it's worth it. The resemblence to Bruce Campbell is extraordinary, and the statue is futher enhanced with the use of actual cloth materials for Ash's tattered clothing.
Okay, so it's not educational, and it's certainly not a toy; it's a pretty heavy statue, one that could easily be a centerpiece in any collector's memorabilia collection.
The only gripe I have (and it's a minor one) is the only thing keeping Ash attached to the base (which really rocks, btw) is what looks to be a thick wooden shank on the bottom of one of his feet. I would be much more satisfied if there were two shanks, one underneath each foot, and if they were made of something...
