I highly recommend him. the quality of this big guy is equal or better to the original based on my opinion.For I am very picky with my toys I collect. Fortress is made to last the test of time....as long as not exposed to sunlight for various hours or days..LOL. I'm a transformer g1 collector and this reissue is awesome.

Nostalgia undone by very poor QC
I never write Amazon reviews but felt compelled to put out a word of caution after my own experience with this toy: A great idea is undone (at least in the case of the one I received) by very shoddy quality control and cheap Chinese manufacturing. The robot I received came with paint scratches/score marks (where the pieces were cut roughly from flashing), extra flashing still on the body in some places, joints/hinges that were way too tight or loose, parts glued together unevenly, obvious white "stress mark" discoloration on some parts, and even dirt in a few places. The company I bought it from told me Takara had a huge QC issue with this toy and had to open packages after they'd been factory-sealed; that's the meaning behind the line in Amazon's description, "NOTE - All Fortress Maximus boxes have been QC'ed by the manufacturer; as a result, they will all be double-taped." I'm not sure if all are as bad as the one I received, but buyer beware.

It took 25 years but I finally got it! trule a classic work for my collection. Hope Takara bring back Arialbots and Stunticons.
