This statue of the Marvel version Thor meets all expectations, from a novice collector like myself. The very image itself is quite imposing, massive in form, colorful and yet gives a demanding presence all of its own. The image is 12" inches in height, without the stand and stills conveys a " Demi-god like " stance; which is quite exciting to just look at. When the figure is positioned on its specially designed podium, it's gives a strong sense of power and strength. The podium gives the Thor figure the extra 3" inches, that increases the imagery and the presentation itself. The Nordic lettering, on the very podium; which I believe either means ' God of Thunder ' or the ' Son of Odin Thor ' that is carved give this statue that additive extra touch of fantasy.
